There was a bombshell in the first pre-final for KFJ at the WSK Euro Series at Sarno with the retirement on the 1st lap of a favorite, the Russian Nikita Sitnikov. Going ahead, Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart / Vortex) gave up first place to Robert Shwartzmann (Tony Kart / TM) in mid-race, with David Beckmann (Zanardi / BMB) keeping in touch in 3rd position. Remigio Garofano (Tony Kart / LKE) was in fourth, some distance back with Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 5th place. This was the order on the finish line, the final laps didn’t bring great changes.
Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) quickly took the lead of the pre-final B, passing teammate Daniel Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex) who then lost several places. Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla) took second position ahead of Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart / Vortex), Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Parker Thompson (Energy / TM). There was a good comeback from Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) in 7th position with the fastest lap as well. Norris controlled Van Leeuwen, Lorandi and Thompson, Aubry took 5th place. Van Leeuwen attacked Lorandi on the last lap while Norris won the race, Thompson, with the fastest lap, kept fourth position and fifth was Aubry. Max Defourny qualified 13th, 16th was Mick Betsch from Enaam Ahmed.
